Loree has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Sciences from San Diego State University and an Associate Degree in Visual Communications. Loree’s professional career includes 14 years in sales/development in the publishing/wholesale book industry and 14 years in the non-profit industry supporting military families, children in foster care, mental health and cancer research with experience including fundraising, sponsorship, board development, local and national campaigns and program development.   

Prior to joining BSF, Loree served as a Senior Development Manager, for a large national cancer research organization working with local volunteers in the Houston Area with a focus on building fundraising capacity, relationships, and development.  

Loree has received many acknowledgments and was honored as the 2010 Navy Military Spouse of the Year by Military Spouse Magazine and has several other service awards, including the 2010 Certificate for Outstanding Volunteer Service by the Mayor of Houston, acknowledged by the County of Fort Bend and 2010 The Daily Point of Light Award by President George H.W. Bush, Honorary Chairman of Points of Light. She has had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton), Oliver North, Toby Keith, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, ABC News’ Bob Woodruff, Lifetime Army Wives’ Brigid Brannagh, and numerous Congressional and military leaders. She has appeared on television, (CNN, OWN, FOX, KHOU-Great Day Houston), radio and local newspapers, (the Conroe Courier, the Villager), magazines (Military Spouse Magazine and ReviewIt Magazine) and other media.  

Loree lives in The Woodlands, Texas, with her husband Capt. Hank Tillman (USN Ret.) and their 18-year-old son who is soon to graduate from high school in 2022.
