The Finance and Investments Committee is a committee of the Barth Syndrome Foundation (BSF) Board of Directors (the “Board”) established under Article III Section 17 of the By-Laws. The Committee shall be comprised of at least two Directors, as appointed by the Board, each for a term ending with his/her Board term. The Board Treasurer serves as Chair of the Committee. The Committee is responsible for overseeing BSF’s annual budget, including performance against budget, investments and overall financial health.
Kevin G. Woodward
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors, Kevin is also currently the BSF Treasurer and so sits on the Executive Committee. He was a speaker at the landmark PFDD meeting hosted by the BSF in 2018 and also has represented BSF at follow-up patient and caregiver impact meetings at the FDA.
For his daytime job, he is an Assistant Vice President and a Senior Technology Project Manager at T. Rowe Price Associates, a leading global asset management firm. He manages a technology group responsible for website development and maintenance, with a focus on web analytics. Kevin has been employed in the Financial Services industry for most of his career. He holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential which is the globally-recognized standard in project management professional certifications. He also brings with him a strong background in graphic design and printing and additionally is a certified Scrum Master.
Kevin and his wife, Stacey, live with their two children (Connor and Ryan) in Phoenix, MD. Stacey is also deeply committed to and involved with BSF. Their older son, Connor, has Barth syndrome - he was born in 2010 and was officially diagnosed in 2012. Kevin’s perspective as a parent of a child with Barth syndrome adds a valuable voice to BSF Board as we plan for the future.
