Youth ICD Support Group
This virtual support group for kids or teens is a great way to connect with others around your age group in the SADS community and living with an ICD. It is designed to provide social interaction with others who have a similar diagnosis. It will include fun, age-appropriate games and activities. This group is not designed to offer therapy, counseling or advice, but rather an opportunity to have fun and get connected to others in the same age group.
The kids group is for children ages 9-13 and living with a SADS condition and an ICD. The teen group is for teens ages 14-18 with SADS and an ICD. Both groups will be led by a nurse. Parental or guardian consent must be provided.
This support group begins September 14, 2021 and continues every 2nd Tuesday of the month. It runs from 7:30 - 8:30 PM EST.
